The Museum is staffed all year round by dedicated volunteers 10am-4pm, 7 days a week.
Closed Christmas Day, Good Friday, and the morning of Anzac Day, Hours from Jun-Aug may be reduced to 1pm-3pm.

The volunteers love working within the community and sharing their knowledge with locals and visitors alike.
The volunteers enjoy having plenty of fun in the process and welcome your questions and interest.

Please don’t be afraid to debate the true identity of the Man from Snowy River and be sure to sight Jack Riley’s saddle bags and pocket watch,
and the buggy that brought his body down the mountain on his last trip.

The Man from Snowy River Museum is located in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains and the pure end of the Murray River in the picturesque township of Corryong.

Corryong is located in north east Victoria and has a population of approximately 1300 people. It has a broad range of accommodation to choose from including motels,
